Jila is an Austin, TX based visual artist, digital graphic designer and technologist. Her artworks are mainly graphic abstractions in which she intuitively explores simple shapes and patterns to visualize the inter-relationship of the elements of her paintings that represent real life subjects. Simplicity and optimism are essential qualities of her works.

She paints primarily in acrylic on canvas but also explores water color and mixed media on paper.
